Thanks, Robert. That was great advice. But, alas, it did not give me any hints as to why this is stalling. I tried --noisy as well. It just lists the files as they are uploading. Nothing out of the ordinary. Just stalls at some random file each time.
I have also tried: --insecure --no_precompilation to diagnose, but the update still stalls somewhere randomly. Weird.
