Thanks Nick, This is an exceptional case, where I am seeding my dev environment. I don't regularly leave my dev server public. :)
Anyway, I though it was a simple way to seed, since it does not involve any command line. If you think it will never work, it's ok, but it would be good if you include a small comment in the docs.
