I just shot a video about this and a few other clauses in the new TOS that I don't like.

I want to ask something with regards to the use of the Google Code service (I just read the new terms of service and was pleased to read something readable. A rare event when it comes to terms of service and privacy statements). So I wonder if someone can clarify something for me. There's a clause called "Your Content in our Services" which contains the following statement: "Some of our Services allow you to submit content. You retain ownership of any intellectual property rights that you hold in that content. In short, what belongs to you stays yours. When you upload or otherwise submit content to our Services, you give Google (and those we work with) a worldwide license to use, host, store, reproduce, modify, create derivative works (such as those resulting from translations, adaptations or other changes we make so that your content works better with our Services), communicate, publish, publicly perform, publicly display and distribute such content. The rights you grant in this license are for the limited purpose of operating, promoting, and improving our Services, and to develop new ones. [..]" My question is: Does this apply to "Content" (ie. code) hosted on Google Code? I understand I own the code, but does this clause mean that, whatever I licence the code under, Google can use it as it sees fit? Kind regards + thanks in advance for any insights.
