Cross-posting to get more exposure... I'm not entirely sure this problem is unique to AppEngine, but I don't have anything else to go on. Wondering if others have had issues with applications deployed to Google AppEnginer that mixed MVP4G, GWT-RPC and Spring MVC? My issue is around the use of DataGrid in a DockLayoutPanel (actually within a nested DockLayoutPanel).
