During the I/O 2012 talk (App Engine overview), a question was raised concerning the newly released support for OR-queries. Unfortunately, we couldn't get an answer before the end of the talk, so I'd like to bring it up here in the group.
How are the OR-queries implemented? Are these true OR-queries, or do they spawn sub-queries and merge the results?
