0.0012 cent per look up makes 1.2 dollar for 1000 searches.. imagine you put 2 ad units from adsense, would this compensate for the expenses for 1000 pageviews (impressions & clicks)? unless it an e-commerce site, that pricing would kill search heavy apps to be hosted at app engine. i hope google will think about such calculations for cost of page..
