Nope I'm using Windows 7, did a lot of experimenting to solve the problem, however couldn't come up with anything, all my appengine files are in a specific directory --search_indexes_path= is set to a search_indexes file, however that file is always ~1kb's and constant, I was thinking whether there is another "search_documents" file, however there is no such indication in temp folder / devappserver args
