This is what appcfg has been saying for all deploys this morning:

11:44 AM Starting deployment.
11:44 AM Checking if deployment succeeded.
...
11:45 AM Deployment successful.
11:45 AM Checking if updated app version is serving.
11:45 AM Will check again in 1 seconds.
11:45 AM Checking if updated app version is serving.
11:45 AM Will check again in 2 seconds.
11:45 AM Checking if updated app version is serving.
11:45 AM Will check again in 4 seconds.
11:45 AM Checking if updated app version is serving.
11:45 AM Will check again in 8 seconds.
11:45 AM Checking if updated app version is serving.
11:45 AM Will check again in 16 seconds.
11:45 AM Checking if updated app version is serving.
11:45 AM Will check again in 32 seconds.
11:46 AM Checking if updated app version is serving.
11:46 AM Will check again in 60 seconds.
11:47 AM Checking if updated app version is serving.
11:47 AM Will check again in 60 seconds.
11:48 AM Checking if updated app version is serving.
11:48 AM Will check again in 60 seconds.
...

Which ends with an exception about 15 minutes later. Frustrating to say the
least.
