Yes, the aliased domain's email is forwarded to the main domain registered to your Google Apps - so i...@aliasdomain.com would go to i...@yourcompanyname.com. Of course, this requires that aliasdomain.com's MX records are set to point to Google mail servers (listed here: http://support.google.com/a/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=174125 ). Alternately, you can set the MX records for aliasdomain.com to any mail service you want.
