I'm not sure to be honest. I know I've had a similar error when doing
Python tasklets, but I don't know if it's the same for handlers linked to
ndb. As for the error not reoccurring, this issue usually only pops under
heavy load or when App Engine is slow. If you don't expect heavy load, it
might be more time-efficient to simply ignore the problem and deal with it
manually if it ever pops again.
