A reversal like this could have been hazardous to the data - in general, 
the old code could've destroyed the new data/formats

I've refactored/improved my app a lot over the last week(s)

I don't event want to consider such a possibility, but it might have 
happened, these kind of irregularities keep haunting long after they've done

*sigh*
