Hi! It's indeed an issue related to the last version (48) of Chrome. I've met this problem as soon as it was released in the dev channel. I've not check if it has been solved with v50.
There is workaround that is a little bit 'dangerous' and that implies to allow Chrome to load any insecure content, without asking you to. To do this, simply launch chrome using the flag "--allow-running-insecure-content" and you should be good to go. But be aware of the implications of this flag and be extremely careful when using your "tweaked" browser.
