100% ACK This is wrong move by Google to discard any application logs as soon as the 5GB are reached until quota reset, forcing customer to buy Stackdriver Premium in order to keep the existing functionality.
Google should better apply the rule to just show the most recent 5GB of logs (no matter from which source they got ingested from).
