There is an often repeated advice, to run one application per Docker 
container. If you decide to follow that piece of advice, you could take a 
look at the Container Engine <https://cloud.google.com/container-engine/>. 
If you choose to install the app in  the same container, you need to commit 
the change with “docker commit”. 

Why don’t you want the node.js files to get deployed? It may prove 
difficult to have node.js specific functionality without them.
