Hi Mac, The current SDK for Java is 1.9.54 - 2017-06-09. It has been released fairly recently, as you may check on the download page <https://cloud.google.com/appengine/docs/standard/java/download>. These releases are quite important and with far-reaching consequences, not the kind of detail that risks to get exposed to oversight or human error.
