As per the documentation the Go standard environment <https://cloud.google.com/appengine/docs/standard/go/sockets/> supports outbound sockets only. There is an early access form <https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSf7KBmhhYTfJBctmelgEQuBQM2nYFvGo3o2_lBY0iFmuKbcUw/viewform> for full websockets in App Engine. All further communications about Websockets on App Engine will occur in the Public Issue Tracker report <https://issuetracker.google.com/35886348>.
