You can restrict the access to your App Engine application via Firewall rules <https://cloud.google.com/appengine/docs/flexible/python/creating-firewalls>. Note the way to allow other App Engine services <https://cloud.google.com/appengine/docs/flexible/python/creating-firewalls#allowing_requests_from_your_services> to access your application if this is required by your application.
