I need to be able send notifications to a web application from the app engine server. For me Server Sent Events seem to be the best option. However, I cannot find any supporting docs for this in GAE standard environment (Java 8).
Is this feature implemented at all in GAE? Is there something else I should be looking for? web sockets are another possibility for me, but from what I can tell, they aren't supported.
