I tried to reproduce the issue by following the quickstarts for Node.js on App Engine Standard <https://github.com/GoogleCloudPlatform/nodejs-docs-samples/blob/master/appengine/hello-world/standard/app.js> and App Engine Flexible <https://github.com/GoogleCloudPlatform/nodejs-docs-samples/blob/master/appengine/hello-world/flexible/app.js>, but it works fine for me and I can see the logs via Stackdriver Log Viewer.
