Hi Elliot I have an android app that is built for the owner of a shop to sell its products to their users, makes posts to social media, admins can make posts and users can browse and buy, I'm going for the web app because in this day and age if you have no web presence you really have nothing and I want to manage(post, sales) the project from the android app. All about web development for me(javascript, html & css) is very basic, but I'm confident I can make it with the help of GPC. My issue is exactly what you stated, "Google provides many ways", should I start with GAE and later move to another product like Containers(of which I'm blank) or VM's once I get more knowledge?.
My issue here is were to deploy it to get started, rather than how to build it.
