SOLVED.
DELETE actions seems to check content-length header on server side.
'Content-Length: 0' added to the request and it works.
I tried this after taking a look at the java sources of client API.
case DELETE:
// ....
setHeader("Content-Length", "0"); // no data to POST
It was the only difference with my http request.
I suggest to add a FAQ entry or a note on GData documentation about this
requirement.
