Ok, thanks Prashant. I guess I was hoping to avoid having to post to all those different places J. Also, I sometimes have trouble telling for sure whether some problem belongs in the 'common' code or not (this is one of those things that does appear to be so); so perhaps I should also try posting to the google-base-api forum.
