Looks like Groups created via API have limited functionality. Such groups have message archiving disabled by default, so they do not display list of topics and posts in the web-interface. On attempt to enable message archiving in group settings, control panel throws an error.
I wonder if there is a way to either create a new Group via API which would have message archiving enabled, or activate it later on?
