We want to write scripts to automate the deletion of accounts if they have never been used. Being a university we often get people who do nothign on our systems for months or years and then suddenly log in and start working because they have an exam coming up or a paper to submit. So we want to check whether someone we thought wasn't using their Google account has done so.
We are already using the downloadable CSV files to make lists of all users and know we can use reporting API. But these aren't real time and it seems wasteful and anti-social to download data for 20,000 users when we only want to know about one or two. So what I want is an API that can show me current disk usage or remaining quota for just one account instead of all of them at once. Ideally last login time as well. I'm sure it must be possible because the user's own web page has that information. But Provisioning API (the obvious place) doesn't seem to have it. Not is there anything obvious in Auditing or Email Profile APIs. And Reporting API looks like an all-or-nothing deal. I've not found any earlier discussion on this since last year, when (just as in 2009/8/7/6) it was said to be unavailable but likely to come soon. Has there been a change? Is it available yet? If not is it coming soon? Obviously the info is there, but there is no published way of getting to it. (A bit irritating as its one of the things you would assume would be available - its sort of odd not to find it already. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Google Apps Domain Information and Management APIs" group.
