Hi, We are developing a server side XMPP client that will talk to google talk's XMPP servers to enable chat for our users on our intranet using their google apps accounts under our Ogilvy.com domains. We have this working for the most part, however we are not sure what SSO options you guys support for the authentication side of XMPP.
I saw in some docs on your site that you support SASL/PLAIN auth only under TLS. Do you support anything else? DIGEST-MD5, SCRAM, EXTERNAL or GSSAPI? I also saw something int he SASL auth exchange about OAUTH-2 and GOOGLE-TOKEN, which posts saying that OAUTH-2 was broke? Are there any examples or resource son XMPP SSO to google talk? What other options are available for us to sign our users in over XMPP automatically short of sending their actual password over the wire? (especially via PLAIN) thanks! -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Google Apps Domain Information and Management APIs" group.
