Job Title: App Dev Manager - Jacksonville, FL Location: Jacksonville, FL Type: Contract Job Description: Scope: • The role provides the successful candidate with the opportunity to manage a software development process across various technologies within the Global Compliance Technology team. This work will be executed by building a high caliber team of developers in a fast paced and challenging environment. Responsibilities: • Responsible for establishing and leading a strong software development team of both permanent and contracted resources reporting to the global manager • Work closely with Global and Regional Management teams to deliver quality projects to agreed schedules. Oversee the development of scopes, tasks, time line for their work. • Work with Global and Regional Management to monitor, update and communicate project timelines and milestones; obtain senior management feedback and understand potential technical speed bumps • Ensure that the team is adequately staffed and possesses the requisite technical and process management skills to discharge its duties satisfactorily. • Work to address logistics to enable team on boarding and productivity Requirements: • Experience with managing development of client-facing applications. • Good analytical and business skills. • Strong interpersonal skills. • Excellent project and process management skills. • Experience working in an innovative environment. • Experience with managing development of enterprise level end to end software applications (UI, Middle Tier, Backend Integration) is required. • Java / J2EE • IBM WebSphere Application Server • Hibernate • Oracle • Webservices • Spring Framework • Eclipse IDE • GWT • Unix Shell Scripting I look forward for your correspondence.
