I have a client that is writing some custom user provisioning API and I wanted to suggest that they use OAuth2 in order to get the longest lifetime for their code. However, I was rather surprised to find that the Provisioning API documentation still suggests ClientLogin for installed clients:
https://developers.google.com/google-apps/provisioning/auth If your client is a standalone single-user "installed" client (such as a desktop application), then you should use the ClientLogin Interface<https://developers.google.com/accounts/docs/AuthForInstalledApps> system Does this need to be updated? The web application OAuth link also points to the OAuth 1.0a docs...
