Hi Mark, Sergey, You encounter this error because you are inserting products in Google Base without a g:id attribute.
We've recently added more documentation about the requirements your items should meet when submitting products. See this documentation page: http://code.google.com/apis/base/starting-out.html#products Let me know if you have some more questions on this subject.
