Hello everyone. I am new (green) to “Google Base Data API”, and in
need of clarification/direction.

Quick background to keep in mind when replying to me, I am not a
programmer. I am an online store owner/operator/analyst, knowledgeable
in html using text editor, that was quite proficient at writing some
neat batch files and very advance WordPerfect 5.1 macros back in the
MS DOS days.

1. May Google Base Data API be used to provide Google Base real-time
content information through automation, thus circumventing Google Base
login, upload or ftp of data feed? If so,
2. Is the data provided via Google Base Data API format similar to
the xml data file that is traditionally uploaded/ftp via Google Base
website dashboard? If so,
3. I assume that once the xml data file has been created, it needs to
be submitted to Google Base, preferably in some mechanized fashion,
and that is where the HTTP protocol I have been reading about in
Google Base Data API documentation comes in? If so,
4. Where can I go to actually learning how to do this on my own, and
the tools I need use?

Thank you, JC
