The company I am working for has close to 1000 reviews of products, but there is no UPC or "common" identifier for any of the items.
The only identifier we have for an item is its Title (which usually contains the model number, but its not organized as such). We want to submit our expert reviews to Google Base's review section (http://base.google.com/support/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=66786) However we are concerned about how to map our products with the right product in the Google database? How does Google know which product to put a review feed in? We don't see any identifier in the Review help file (linked above). Except maybe "name_of_item_reviewed" ---I'm not sure if Google's AI can figure out the exact product from that... I searched all over for this information, but can't find anything. Perhaps I am not using the right wording because I am sure this is a basic question? Thanks a lot!
