I'm seeing the same issue.

If this is my query... without my key**
http://base.google.com/base/feeds/snippets?bq=688+SmartKettle[item+type:products][author:-eBay][price(float+USD)+%3E+1.0+USD]&key=XYZ

i get 0 results.

if i do this query excluding the ebay author, i get many results..
including that of other authors
http://base.google.com/base/feeds/snippets?bq=688+SmartKettle[item+type:products][price(float+USD)+%3E+1.0+USD]&key=XYZ

which can be verified @ http://www.google.com/products?q=688+smartkettle&aq=f

Can this be explained? I even tried to use ebay's author number but to
no avail.

Thanks!
