I wonder if this is related to an issue I am having. I tried posting
this here about a week ago, but that post is still 'waiting to be
approved by moderators' because I am a new poster here. I also tried
sending Google Merchant Center support an email about this a week ago
too, but no response.

I've noticed that since about a week or two ago even though I've made
no changes to what I am doing when I create a data feed through the
API it is defaulting to "shopping.com" feed format. I can't seem to
get this to change to "google base" and there is no documented way of
setting the feed format through the API, such as gb:feed_format It's a
pretty significant problem, and I see now way to solve it except to
manually change each account and feed (obviously not an ideal
solution).

As a result if I uploaded items I see 0 out of 1000 items inserted as
well. Have you checked all of your feed setting to ensure they are as
you expect them to be?

Also, does anyone else have any idea how to fix this?
