I'm trying to insert an item using the PHP API. From what I can tell I have everything set up correctly. No errors occur and an entry item (id included) is returned from the insert call. However, nothing is actually inserted into my items feed. Setting the dryrun flag to true or false has no effect on the behavior. In both cases it returns the same corresponding item id for the items I'm trying to insert. I find that very odd. Has anyone encountered this before, or know what's going on?
