Hi, We've built a mobile application which uses Google base real estate listings. The application has been launched in Australia and so far has been very well received.
We're looking at expanding the reach of the application to US and UK An initial pilot indicates the rate limit of 5 queries per second is going to be an issue with the increased usage. We're paging results to the mobile device to ensure the user interface is responsive. ie. 50 results would be returned to the user in 5 chunks of 10. This means it's very easy to exceed the limit of 5 queries per second. Some other posts in the group indicate it's possible to arrange with Google for a higher limit. How do we go about this?
