Unfortunately I don't have the hardware to log the HTTP 
requests/responses. I just added more upgraded hardware and it's already 
over-utilized at times.

Since I can't enable the logging in production, and this only happens in 
production I don't see how I can get you the info you need to fix this. 
Any other ideas?

It's not a high percentage of total entry objects sync'd, but the 
chances of it happening during a sync (or a Google Internal error, or a 
Google null response) are fairly high.

Btw, are there any known memory leaks in the gdata API? When doing some 
heap analysis last night I found these results to be rather suspicious. 
It could be that this is a normal number for the multiple simultaneous 
syncs that were going through this particular JVM in the cluster but...
