Hello wutzke,

In the 'Agenda' view, accessible from the top-right of the UI, it will
list all your upcoming events.  In that list, if you click on
'Independence Day', a few options will expand.  Click on the 'delete'
link.  That should work.

As the import is taken entirely through the UI, some of the other
groups may be a bit more relevant.
