Testing it for my tool iCal4OL, invitations can not be used "the other
way round"...

The invitations are always send "on behalf" of the calendar owner, and
the owner never receives an invitation - but (of course) receives all
confirmations. (With a different organizer, the organizer gets
invited, but confirmed to the calendar owner..)

If your "owner" has a second email address, you could invite "him"...
=MPD ;-)

Or add the event on an attendee-calendar and "only invite your
organizer" (attendees=accepted). The event will show up automatically
on the other calendars (if option is set there).
1. add event without any attendees/organizer (when adding, its not
"allowed" to set/use gCal:sendEventNotifications=true,
like in user interface: first add event, then add attendees, if
you want to invite them..)
2. update event and add your "needed owner" as organizer with
"invited" and set gCal:sendEventNotifications=True
3. update event with the attendees "accepted" and set
gCal:sendEventNotifications=false
(1+3 could p. be done together, then 2... it depends if you want to
leave Notifications=True or False)

Hope, this helps
