Several users have reported problems accessing CalDAV feeds from
within iCal. This manifests itself as either the calendar ceasing to
update, or disappearing from iCal entirely. No data is lost, and the
calendar remains accessible from within the Calendar HTML UI.

This is a known issue, and is caused by improper UTF-8 encoding of
characters by our servers. As a workaround, you can restore CalDAV
access to your calendar by removing any Unicode characters from the
calendar and events contained therein.

We realize that this workaround is not feasible for all users, and we
are working to restore access for affected users as quickly as
possible. I do not have an ETA for a fix, but I will continue to
provide updates as they become available.

We apologize for the inconvenience.
