Ron,
Can you provide a link demonstrating this?

Also, have you tested it while logged out of Google Calendar? If *you* 
click on "more details", you'll be edit the event because you're logged 
in as the owner of the calendar. In general, others shouldn't be able 
to do this unless you've granted them permission to do so.
