I recently took over managing a multi-user web app that used gdata-
python 1.0.13. In doing so, I upgraded the server to Fedora 10. Out
of the box, the supported python-gdata library is version 1.2.2.

I hunted around both in the Google groups, documentation, etc. and
online for some guides for porting from gdata-python from 1.0.13 to
1.2.2 The best that I could find was gdata's RELEASE notes.

http://gdata-python-client.googlecode.com/svn-history/r585/trunk/RELEASE_NOTES.txt

Is there a porting/migration guide available for gdata-python?

One issue that I am running into is regarding the AuthSub module. The
1.0.13 AuthSub session token that is valid indefinitely for access to
the user's calendar(s) appears to be invalid for use by the 1.2.2
API. Would it be necessary to reprompt users for their approval for
our application to access their calendar when switching to the 1.2.2
version of the gdata-python library?

Thanks in advance,
Alison
