I had a similar problem and the solution turned out to be quite
simple. The calendar I had been sharing had the wrong settings. Try to
go into the calendar setting and check them.
1. Go to your calendars in Google.
2. Click on the down arrow next to the calendar you're trying to
share.
3. Select "Calendar settings".
4. On the next screen, click on "Share this calendar".
5. On this screen there are two checkboxes:
Make this calendar public
- and -
Share only my free/busy information (Hide details)
6. Make sure that "Make this calendar public" IS checked and that
"Share only my free/busy information (Hide details)" IS NOT checked.
If "Share only my free/busy information (Hide details)" is checked,
events cannot be seen.
7. In addition to this, make sure every event on that you want shared
is set to "Public". When you create an event or modify it, you'll see
setting under the Options section of the event. Under "Privacy" make
sure that the "Public" item is selected (and not "Default" or
"Private") and hit Save to make sure the setting is saved.
Once I made this modification, everyone could see events on the
calendar. If you're using the same Google account for your personal
events and events you want to share with others, I would create a
whole new calendar for the events you want to share. This can be done
under the same Google account as the one you have your personal
calendar. This will make managing vents cleaner, and you can always
copy individual events from one calendar to another if you need to.
