I am writing a calendar gadget that will be added to a calendar as a weekly recurring event. The gadget's content is date dependent so it needs to query its own date in response to internal js actions (i.e. on a button click or drop-down selection the gadget needs to post its event date to a php script). I didn't see anything in the API or examples about doing this (but likely I missed it). Is this possible and if so how?
