You are inviting someone to attend an event. I don't believe that you can control what they do with that event. They might like to place that event on their calendar, in case they want to remember that they were planning to attend that event. If you have control of the invitee's settings, you might try turning the setting for "automatically added events that I am invited to to my calendar" off.
