How do I get the Recurrence Value to be parsable by iCal 1. The event is incomplete. It's missing the BEGIN:VEVENT and END:VEVENT tag 2. The VTIMEZONE is "embedded" within the event information, which is not legal in the iCalendar standard. This makes handling this text much harder.
