I've been trying to get something like this to work for several days now. It appears that there's no way to add a clickable link to an event that the user has edit rights over. If you add it to the description field, when the user clicks on the event, the text from the field is displayed in a textarea which does not support displaying clickable links.
I've seen a lot of other questions about how to add links to events and I'm wondering if this is something that google plans on supporting in the future.
