If you are using 24 hours time format, you should use this format string
instead:
df = new SimpleDateFormat("yyyy-MM-dd HH:mm");
As the "hh" is read as hour in am/pm (1-12) so 12:00 to 12:59 (without pm)
is read as 00:00 to 00:59.
