Hi, I'm new to working with google calendar and wondering if certain
things are possible. My goal is to write a training log class for
google calendar, for use by athletes and their coaches, primarily in
nordic skiing or other endurance sports.

I like the ability that we have to share google calendars and I think
it meshes well with what I want to do.

Before I ask any questions I'd like to say that I am open to any
suggestions for recommended readings, resources, or implementation
suggestions.

My thought right now is that I'd like to extend the CalendarEntry and
CalendarEventEntry classes. I'm going to start out small, all I want
to be able to do is add my new class to the list of CalendarEntrys and
then add to that with instances of my other class.

Some questions I've thought of: what super classes and methods should
I be familiar with as I embark on this task?
Once I've created all the functionality I want within my classes, will
there be a way that I can let a user choose to add an instance of one
of my classes to their calendars? I have many more questions but these
seem the most relevant right now.
