This is a known issue that is tracked in the public issue tracker:
  http://code.google.com/a/google.com/p/apps-api-issues/issues/detail?id=2524

Please star the issue as any updates will be posted there. In the
meantime, if anyone of you had a calendar for which the issue occurs
quite often, and can be shared with us, please do it as it will help
us investigate.
