Hello, Unfortunately, this is not yet available through the API. But feel free to file a feature request on our public issue tracker<http://code.google.com/a/google.com/p/apps-api-issues/issues/list?q=label:API-Calendar>and post the link in the forum so that other users can "star" it; the more star it has, the easier it is for us to prioritize feature requests.
