We are reading reading the event using the selfuri so I'm not sure that is the issue. We did start using the SyncEvent value for the EventEntry and we started seeing this issue so your second point may be the issue. So the the gCal:uid/@value must be unique within the selected Google calendar or all Google calendars within the same account?
